As contemplative Religious women, we don’t engage in any ministry of service outside of the monastery. Our life is a life of prayer which is more than a schedule of prayer times. We also consider our prayer as a ministry to you and to the world. Our ministry of prayer has three, concrete expressions: The Liturgy of the Hours, La Foresta Retreat House and Prayer Remembrance Cards.

Liturgy of the Hours

We gather as community six times a day to pray the psalms and Scripture readings assigned by the Church for that day and time of day. We hold the needs of our world before God as we symbolize the praying Church.

People are welcome to join us for Morning Prayer and Evening Prayer. On Sundays of Advent at 4:30 p.m., it has become a tradition for many people to join us for Evening Prayer.

La Foresta
We are blessed to have La Foresta on our grounds. It is a 3 bedroom home that is available for individuals who are seeking quiet time in a sacred space. Retreatants are welcome to join us for the Liturgy of the Hours, and Spiritual Direction is available. Click here for more information.
