God gives us new beginnings every day, but a new year is a different kind of beginning, isn’t it? I think of Dag Hammersjold’s famous quote: “For all that has been, thanks… for all that will be, yes.” That’s a good sentiment for the beginning of a new year, don’t you think?! So much to be grateful for when we look back and trusting in God’s provident care as we look forward. I don’t make New Year’s resolutions because I need to begin anew each day; how about you?
