It’s the end of the second week of Advent. At Evening Prayer tonight we lit our rose candle on the Advent Wreath to mark the beginning of the third week and to signify our joy that soon we will celebrate the Birth of Jesus. This week brings the beautiful singing of the O Antiphons each evening at Vespers, beginning December 17th. Here at the Monastery we wait for Christmas. Quietly, preparations are being made.
