God’s Sash of Angels
As the Lord walks upon the stars
A sash made of golden nuggets
Wears upon his holy waist
As the mighty one leaps above the earth
Nuggets’ fall from his heavenly sash
Upon their touching the earthly soil
Angels break free of the golden shell
Developing into a cloister of praying saints
As they pray for the Lord’s return
The Lord’s heart feels their embrace
Through their sacrifice of grace
God returns his angels to their proper place
